To choose the right size of threaded insert for your bowl:
Determine the size of opening you need in your bowl or vessel.
Choose if you will mount the threaded base in your vessel or your lid.
Choose the corresponding size from the charts below.
Please keep in mind the wall thickness of your project and leave enough room for the threaded bushing to be installed.

Our threaded ring sets come in 8 standard size.
If you are trying to optimize the opening of your vessel. Be sure to mount the larger ring on your lid. The ID of your finished jar will be larger than the ordered ID size.
